Any recommendations on chargers, or solar powered chargers?

In the summer I am going to Ghana to work as a volunteer. Obviously electricity will be limited, so I want some kind of charger to charge up my phone, ipod and digital camera. I need one which wont need to keep being topped up by the mains, and gives sufficient charge, and also under £30!
There are so many mixed reviews on amozon. Does anyone have any recommendations from their experiance?!

thankyou x

Majority of the Apple iPhone users who are not using the iPhone with contracts have battery complains, this due to the fact that unlocking process leaves a few backend processes that run constantly and drains battery. This also reduces the battery life and back up time. Those who are using the contract iPhones can further increase battery life by applying certain changes, e.g. turning off the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G when not used as these processes consumes battery and shutting them down will give a little boost in back up time. Following are few of the iPhone’s charging techniques and battery facts.

Apple iPhone Battery Facts

  • After 500 Charges / Discharges the battery life time is reduced by 20%.
  • Apple recommends monthly battery calibration, means one complete charging cycle per month. Charging cycle means to charge the battery fully after it has completely drained.
  • There was a battery drainage problem is a few iPhone

Who/What companies would buy my Solar Charger product?

I have imported several samples of Solar Chargers from overseas. They recharge your iPhone,iPod,PDAs,Digital Cameras, MP3/MP4 Players, and other major cell phone manufacturer phones in the sun and work wonderfully. NOTE: they are not the Solio brand. They are a generic no name brand but work great.

I am wanting to distribute them to industries that would think it would be useful for them to use because they are always on the go. Right now these are the ideas I have, please add your ideas!

1. Construction companies
2. Police departments
3. Outdoor camps
4. Tour guide companies
5. Delivery companies/Freights
6. Shipyards

Any other ideas?

solar chargers are a great idea, but have problems of their own.

They charge only during the day, when you need your cellphone, camera, etc!
Plus, if you go back home at night, you can charge your device at home.

So, think for applications where you can’t
