    Thanks man. Its not …
Thanks man. Its not really a solar panel its a solar water heater. But that a great video on how to make one. Most of the videos you get claim to show you how to do it yourself but they lead you to a site where you have to buy a book on how to do it.
Thanks for showing us just how to do it. Without the BS money making site.

    lol. calling …
lol. calling someone a fraud when you yourself obviously have no grasp of basic physics involved, or the type of device, which have been used for over 100 years in the USA, mostly in the evacuated tube configuration.

as i said above, this device is a small unit not designed to boil water. to do that you need evacuated tubes and sealed heat pipes (tubes filled with oil or other high heat capacity fluid). the gas or electric unit in your home does not boil water. 150 degrees is usually the max.

    nope. a properly …
nope. a properly constructed and oriented solar hot water system will work year around. this one is small, “proof of concept” type device, and will not make much hot water. it may raise the temp of the water going through it a degree or 2. but it will work as long as the sun is on it, ignoring exterior air temp (that’s what the insulation is for.)

And this will only keep water “hot” during the summer months.

    This is EXCELLENT …
This is EXCELLENT but don’t you have to drill holes through the sides and have the copper tubing stick out of it so that you can hook it up to a hose that will run the water through it?

    do it really work? …
do it really work? heating up water means boiling it? how will the cold water pass into the tube? do it need a pressure pump to push the water up?( if the unit is in the rooftop), can I increase the size of the pipe and the length too? what type of pipe should be used (are those pipe that are use in air conditioning is OK)?

    Fraud. How does it …
Fraud. How does it go from outside temp to boiling temp? That’s a big jump. Plus, this guy posts videos every month from different accounts. Here are just a few of his.. windsolarhome, solarwindhome, energyforearth, and colonella2002.. all linking to his website. I’m sure there’s more. Explain that Ernie.

    Thank you for your …
Thank you for your interesting video. I would like to make a suggestion.
When you drill holes into the plate on either side of the tube and attach the tube to the plate by twisting a metal wire, you realise full contact between the tube and the aluminium plate. This increases heat-transmission, which makes your tool more efficient. Question: Could you explain the reason why you do not expose the tubes to sunlight? Thank you in advance

Solar panel is your answer. You have 2 types of solar panels. PV or photo voltaic or electric, and heat absorbing or non electric. Thanks Ernie

would you do to make this panel better ?
I would like your suggestion, and know how. How many panels have you built, and installed? What type of science backround do you have? Look forward to your help. Try to be positive…Ernie
