often have old hot water heaters that could be modified to insert glycal circulation this way a preheater of sorts
could easely be connected to the hot water, and old refrigurater evaperaters
cooled be used as a heater in the house
that can be inserted at the intake vent of your house so as to use the duct and fan

    Dublech…You can …
Dublech…You can buy a heat transfer/storage unit that will maintain consistent heat. I am developing a low cost tranfer/storage tank. If you have any thoughts on this let me know. The major cost is the tank, and labor. My objective is to bring the cost of a hot water system from $10,000. to under $1,000. Thanks Ernie

A friend once read me the famous quote that “Man sharpens Man as stone does stone”. Im a carpenter / freedom thinker and have found your tubeformation very exciting. Can you direct me to more on your method for maintaining the heat level in consistent storage?

I thank you for creating the video. I do have a question. Onxe I create the solar panel, what do I do with it. The copper is sitting inside the panel. How do I set it up so it attually heats water or a small cabin. I mught attually do this if I can find out how I can make it work. Thank you – Nice video you made it simple. Part two?

What is the max temp for the plexiglass before it gets soft? I am building 2- 28″X 76″ solar panels and not shure of what would be better glass or plexiglass?
I have 3 sliding glass door glass that is 28″x 76″ is how I got the size for the panels. but have broken one very easy.
should I use the glass or plexiglass? Thanks.

    Just take it slow …
Just take it slow and easy. This will help you understand how solar heat works. Remember, on a full scale unit the copper will be a wider dimension. You will be able to solder 90 degree angles.

    lcampbell00 – This …
lcampbell00 – This might work… We used this method in the 70′s to bend aluminum tubing for hang gliders. Try this: Fill your tube with sand. Probably it will need to be dry sand (use your wife’s oven!) and make sure the ends of the tubes are closed. I hope this helps.

I like your idea of trying rope – please comment back to let us know if either of these methods work.

    hi.
I’d just like to thank you for posting this video.

It was pretty easy to follow and i have almost completed one myself.
The only problem i am finding is bending the copper tubing. It deforms its shape and bends when i try and manipulate the tubing to be in a S like shape.

What do you suggest i do to deal with this problem?

perhaps to feed some rope through the tubing?
I don’t want to ruin the copper as it was the most expensive part of the project.
    Thanks

    hi Colonella, i …
hi Colonella, i just saw your video on how to make solar pannels, i have to say its brilliant, but i have to ask a few questions if i may.

    1) how can you get the power stored out of it? lets say to use on something electrical
    2) how can the design you made be used to heat water.

please messege me back ASAP i would like to understand how to use this solar pannel to its maximum potental.

Essentially yes – only the bucket is a well insulated tank and the hot fuild is passed thru it in a coil of copper bringing the temperature up to that which is being created by the solar panel

I am working on video number 2. I am testing different designs. I will be selling a step by step instruction book, and selling a kit that contains one panel so people can use it as a template for the whole system. Your answer is yes…Ernie
